Balancing Sustainability and Cost

Sustainability means many things to many people. To some it means resource management, to others it applies to limiting resource consumption, and further it may mean the economics of project life cycle. At M. F. Reynolds, we believe in striking a balance in the expenditure of all resources relative to the desired outcomes of the customer.

At the inception of the renovation or new home project, we listen carefully to owner’s intent regarding limits of project scope, reuse of existing elements, specification for energy efficient systems and environmentally friendly products. Our job, as a home builder, is to blend the owner’s intent regarding sustainability with the realities of construction design, procurement and product durability.
